Concord Occasional Care provides care for children aged 6 weeks and up to 6 years.

We operate 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Occasional care allows you flexibility to book casual or regular bookings. You can use the service as often or as little as you like depending on availability. You can book half-day or full-day sessions.

No, food is not provided. You must provide all meals/snacks for your child. This includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. All food must be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Yes, please ensure your child brings their own drink bottle filled with water.

Concord Occasional Care is an allergy aware service. Our educators are trained in Allergy and Anaphylaxis management and First Aid. Medical Management Plans are discussed on enrolment.

Concord Occasional Care provides care for up to 25 children each day, with 6 places available for children under 2 years of age.

Yes, all staff have qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care, First Aid and Anaphylaxis. Child Protection and Working with children checks.

Our qualified staff provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment for each child. Here is a typical daily routine.
8:00am - Centre opens
8:00-10:05am - Arrival & Free Play
Transition to morning tea. Songs and Acknowledgement to Country.
10:00-10:30am - Morning tea/Nappy change & toileting
Transition to indoor/outdoor experiences.
10:30-11:30am - Play & Activities
11:30-12:00pm - Circle Group Time
Transition to lunch time.
12:00-12:30pm - Lunch/Nappy change & toileting
12:30-1:30pm - Rest time/Quiet play
1:30-2:00pm - Wake up & afternoon transition time/Nappy change & toileting
2:00-3:30pm - Play & Activities/Music & Movement
Transition to afternoon tea.
3:30-4:00pm - Afternoon tea/Nappy change & toileting
4:00-5:00pm - Afternoon Gathering/Tidy up/Home time
5:00pm - Centre closes
